COCOS GUEST REVIEWS
Tony and Margery Yates
November 2008 |
Dear Cocos,
“This was our second visit in a year. After the first visit we just knew we had to come back, and found it every bit as charming as the first visit. If you are looking for a quiet, relaxing vacation then you need look no further.
With its simplistic charm, the hotel set on a hillside is in an ideal location with its own area of Jolly Beach and a beautiful setting sun to look onto from your balcony. The food is wonderful and the staff are very warm and friendly. We shall definitely be coming back."

Dear Cocos,
“Alison and I just wanted to say, "thank you" properly to everyone at Cocos who made our stay so memorable. Cocos is a true Caribbean idyll and gives an experience that I don't think you'd get anywhere else. Some people want simple elegance - and I think that is exactly what you provide. The rooms were great. The food was excellent. And, the atmosphere was so relaxing and secure. Thanks again - and have a dark rum over ice for me!”

TV Actress Staying at Cocos
Victoria Rowell, best known as “Drucilla Winters” from the US soap opera “The Young and the Restless”, held a special intimate book signing during her stay at Cocos Hotel to attend the 3rd Antigua and Barbuda Literary Festival earlier last year.
Miss Rowell was a featured author at the annual Literary Festival where she spoke on a number of panels and read from her new memoir, “The Women Who Raised Me”. The best selling memoir received The African American Literary Award and two NAACP Image Award nominations in the literary category, including Outstanding Literary Work/Debut Author. The book is also a New York Times Extended Bestseller and is on the best sellers list of the Boston Globe and Essence magazine.
Miss Rowell shared her passion of the written word with locals and visitors to the Festival and encouraged aspiring writers to be passionate about telling their story. “It is important to get your story out and to find the discipline and courage to write”, shared Miss Rowell.
Victoria is looking forward to returning to Cocos Hotel soon.
